Strong competences, up-to-date equipment, 1st class quality services Scanel International A/S based in Frederikshavn, Denmark, has opened a brand new electromechanical workshop. With a working space of 1000 m2, an overhead crane capacity of 10 ton and up-to-date equipment and facilities, we are capable of providing services of el-motors and generators up to 3 MW to the offshore, marine and process industry.

Situated in the port of Frederikshavn, access to the workshop by ship from the sea or by truck from E45 is optimal, and having one of the most modern and well-equipped workshops in Scandinavia, our staff of 20 experienced and well-educated technicians is capable of providing a first class service to our customers.
The general services the workshop can provide are:
Service, rewinding and functioning test of AC/DC el-motors and generators up to 3 MW
Replacement of bearings, vibration test and alignment of shafts in el-motors, generators, ventilators and pumps.
Service and repair of various industrial el-driven equipment
In addition to the service that is carried out in the workshop, we also provide onsite preventative services of systems and components by means of survey, thermography, vibration tests, frequency analysis etc. In addition we provide integrated Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) as well as a 7/24 service.
Scanel International A/S is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2000 by DNV, and the electromechanical workshop is in addition certified according to the EN ISO 14001:2004 standard.
